Pros
As a member of the LATAM team, despite the distance and cultural differences, the respect and understanding among all individuals in the company are exceptional. There is a comfortable working atmosphere in various projects, and it's interesting how the company is open to allowing you to work from anywhere in the world, reinforcing one of its main principles, which is globality!

-They are still too conservative in some ideas and have others as very established that could be reviewed by incorporating new perspectives, but it is true that in the last year, especially, it seems that they are accelerating changes because there are people giving space to new ones, and it looks good. - The 100% remote model distances you a bit from people, and sometimes you feel isolated. - At the moment, they don't use community channels like Slack, and if you're not in a department or in a very large team, you lose the sense of the real size of the company, as if you lose the feeling of the group.

- It would be nice if they organized more working sessions together, workshops, attended tech events with more people from the company, met for drinks on a Friday, etc. - Open some channel to be more in touch with people and feel that you are part of a community.

[...] Open is not an idyllic place where butterflies fly and we vomit rainbows. But compared to other companies I've been in, I consider that the conditions are quite good, and above all, the work environment and colleagues are the best I've seen. When I've had to renegotiate something, they have always sat down with me and tried to reach what I needed because they are the first ones who don't want to lose good people, it's common sense. The issue of salary that is talked about so much, perhaps one has to ask oneself if one is valid enough or contributes enough value to earn more without producing more, [...] tell people who are thinking of joining not to believe everything they read on forums like this and to be clear that only people who are angry about something come here to comment, but their personal experience is not extendable to the rest. Ladies and gentlemen, also ask people who have been here for years, and don't let subjective comments make you miss out on good job opportunities.
